Refuge Coffee & Beer Garden brings the Northwest area of San Antonio a family business that strives to provide the best quality coffee, beer, and local eats.
Refuge Coffee + Beer Garden started in March 2024 with a vision to provide a place that serves incredible specialty coffee and the best local craft beers in Texas, as well as a fun & safe environment for the whole family to enjoy.
Refuge is an effort to serve a truly local experience; highlighting the best that Central Texas area has to offer. We have developed great partnerships with incredible farmers, ranchers, and vendors to provide a San Antonio local experience unlike anything currently available in the city.Â
By sourcing all ingredients ethically, locally, and organically (when possible), we are able to bring business back to our own backyard while providing a refuge from day to day stresses on our beautiful property that feels like a home away from home!
We’re incredibly passionate about serving the best possible coffee and beer, but also want you to have a great time with us. So come enjoy a garden experience with a cold one in-hand or grab a hot latte for your business meeting.Â

It is clear that the demand for craft coffee has been steadily increasing in recent years. Now, following consumer desires, the demand for sustainability at every level has become important. As a fourth-wave coffee shop, we take great pride in sourcing our beans directly from farmers and specialty importers, which allows us to offer our customers high-quality, ethically & sustainably sourced coffee.
We’ve noticed that more & more customers are interested in learning about the origin, roasting, and brewing methods of their coffee. This has given us the opportunity to showcase our expertise in artisanal brewing techniques and highlight the art and science of coffee preparation.
